Hot water for your specialty coffee

If you want to brew a coffee, the water used and the temperature are crucial. In order for your coffee to develop its full aromas, the water must be at a precise temperature. The optimal temperature is typically 89 to 96 °C. That's why you should use a kettle with a temperature setting to prepare your specialty coffee. The kettle's function allows you to set a specific temperature in advance. This allows you to achieve optimal extraction and prepare your coffee under the best conditions. Have we piqued your curiosity? Then take a look at our kettles with temperature selection.

When brewing a fresh cup of coffee, pouring the water evenly is crucial for the best extraction. A kettle with a precise gooseneck spout, such as the Fellow Stagg or the Timemore, can be particularly helpful here. The gooseneck spout makes it easier to pour precisely, resulting in optimal extraction of the coffee.

Most kettles have between 1,000 and 2,000 watts, depending on the maximum capacity. If you want to use your kettle to brew water for your coffee, the power determines how long it takes to boil. Water is usually brought to the boil within two to three minutes: if you set a lower temperature, it will be quicker.

We offer kettles made of stainless steel. The material has particularly good insulation. The water heats up quickly and stays warm for a long time. There are also kettles made of glass. The advantages are that glass is particularly hygienic and easy to clean. However, glass kettles have a high risk of breakage.

Fellow kettles impress with their wide range of functions. This includes a timer that shows you when the water will be at the desired temperature. In addition, some of the brand's kettles and tea makers have a height adjustment that prevents boiling over. The trilingual guide contains various recommendations.
